Staple

Staple is the first broad-spectrum herbicide with a low use rate that is approved for use on cotton. It can be tank-mixed with other herbicides, insecticides, and plant growth regulators (PGRs). Staple belongs to a new family of chemistry that inhibits the enzyme acetolactate synthase. Unlike other herbicides, it is neither a sulfonylurea nor an imidazolinone. Once absorbed by the plant, Staple works by inhibiting cell division and growth.
