Aldous Little Bluestem

Little Bluestem is a native, warm-season perennial grass known for its gray-green foliage that turns a unique reddish-bronze color in the fall. This grass is excellent for erosion control, improving soil quality, and providing wildlife habitat. It grows in clumps, reaching heights of 2 to 4 feet, and is characterized by a dense root system. You can identify Little Bluestem by its flat, bluish-colored basal shoots and leaf blades that tend to fold.
