Centipede

Centipede grass is the ideal choice for anyone seeking a low-maintenance, beautiful lawn. With its low-growing nature and medium leaf texture, it appeals to those who value simplicity without compromising on aesthetics. This grass was initially popular in cemeteries and later became a favorite for homeowners during and after the Great Depression, earning nicknames like "lazy man's grass" or "poor man's grass." Its ability to thrive in poor soils and adapt to both full sun and partial shade makes it exceptionally versatile. Plus, with very little need for maintenance and fertilization, centipede grass is a hassle-free option. Its drought tolerance and minimal mowing requirements further enhance its appeal, making it a smart and attractive choice for any lawn.
