Eastern Gamagrass

Dahl grass has an excellent leaf-to-stem ratio, resulting in high forage quality and palatability. It thrives best in the southern plains, where the average rainfall ranges from 15 to 35 inches. Additionally, it demonstrates good drought tolerance and performs well under both dryland and irrigated conditions. However, it does not thrive in wet or alkaline soils.
