German Foxtail Millet

Golden German Foxtail Millet is a top choice for exotic bird feed, dove fields, and as nutritious forage for livestock. It also creates ideal food plots for deer, turkey, quail, and other wildlife. This remarkable annual warm-season grass matures quickly in the blistering heat of summer and boasts a long history as one of the earliest cultivated crops. Although German millet has a low water requirement, be mindful that its shallow root system limits its recovery after drought conditions. Invest in this resilient crop, which offers grain formation in just 75 to 90 days, and watch your wildlife thrive!
