Description:

Sadandy is an open-pollinated variety of cowpea that yields small, creamy white peas. The plants are semi-erect and bushy, producing an abundance of long green pods positioned high on the plant for easy harvesting. The pods turn straw-colored when mature, but they are typically harvested at the green-shell stage, while the seeds inside are still plump and somewhat green. Freshly picked peas can be frozen, or if left to fully mature, they can be stored at room temperature in an airtight container.
